Every child must bring the school handbook to class daily. No student is allowed to tear any page from this handbook nor is permitted to use it as a rough book.
Every student must wear his/her I card at all times within the school premises. Any student found to be without the I card will be issued a temporary I card immediately from the office, charges for which the parent will have to pay the next day.
Irregular attendance, habitual negligence in work, dishonesty, obscenity in word or act, insubordination, serious misconduct or threats even outside the school are sufficient reasons for dismissal.
Boys are expected to look neat and well groomed with hair cut short. Girls with long hair are expected to plait it with black ribbon, and hair band is a must for short hair. Nails should be trimmed short with no nail polish. Fancy earrings, chains, necklaces or make up are not allowed. All students are expected to wear navy blue cardigans in winter.
Any student who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or willfully mischievous, or is guilty of gross malpractice in connection with an examination or of unauthorized alterations in a mark sheet or leaving certificate, or who in the opinion of the Headmaster, has an unwholesome influence on his/her fellow pupils may be removed from the rolls.
Any damage done to school property or to that of other students will have to be made good.
The school cannot make itself responsible for books, money, clothes and other articles that are lost. It is not advisable for students to have money or valuable articles with them.
Cleanliness of person and uniform is expected of every child. Those who come to school with untidy dress, hair, etc. will not be allowed to attend school. Every student must possess at least 2 sets of the right shade uniform.
No child suffering from any contagious or infectious disease will be allowed to attend school.
All children should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, seed etc. on the floor in the school premises or in the compound. Wastepaper baskets should be used for that purpose.
No books, articles other than school books may be brought into the school premises. Carrying/Use of mobile phones is prohibited in school. Chewing gum is strictly prohibited in school premises
Every student is expected to be in class five minutes before the first bell. A child coming late to school may not enter the classroom until permission is obtained from the head of the school.
Report on conduct and application is issued after every test on the result sheet. These reports have to be signed by the parents and returned to the class teacher the next day. Failure to do so may bring their children to great inconveniences.
Parents should notify the school if there is any change of address.
While communicating with the school authorities parents are requested to mention in their letter the G.R. no., U.I.D.NO, standard & division of their child.
Parents are not allowed to meet their children or meet teachers during school hours without the sanction of the authorities. The parents may meet the teachers after class hours.
Parents are requested to make any complaint directly to the authorities and not to the class teachers.
No student is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher or until the class is dispersed.
Parents are requested not to require the children to come away from school before class is over except in case of real necessity when permission should be obtained in writing.
No pupil will be exempted from physical training without a doctor's certificate. Those who are thus excused must go and watch the drill.
Presents to teachers and demonstrations in their honour are not allowed.
No collection for any purpose whatsoever will be started without the prior permission of the principal.
Reductions in fees are granted in special cases to poor & deserving students. Concessions are tenable only for the year for which they are granted and may be cancelled at any time of the year if the student fails to satisfy the authorities in conduct and application. No reduction in fees will be made in favour of those whose academic progress and/or discipline is unsatisfactory.
Morning or afternoon shift /division is alloted to students as per convenience of the school. Parents or students cannot demand shift/division of their choice.
Parents are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management and the management thus has the right to say on what condition they will admit or retain pupils in the school provided such conditions are in conformity with the grant-in-aid code and the instructions issued by the Council or Director or the Education Inspectors.
The engagement of private tutors may prove detrimental to real progress. Parents must therefore remember that the school discourages private tuitions.
Teachers of Children’s Academy Group of schools are banned from taking any tuition of Any student of Children’s Academy Group of schools. Engaging tuitions teacher who is an employee of Children’s Academy group of schools will be viewed as breach of discipline rules of the school and appropriate disciplinary actions will be initiated against the teacher and the student.
Any student caught indulging in any form of malpractice during the examination will be prohibited from continuing to appear the said paper. The student will not be allotted any marks in the paper in which he/she is caught indulging in malpractice and will not be allowed to attend the subsequent paper.
